A delightful and cozy retreat

Upon arrival, the warm welcome from the front desk team instantly brightened my day! The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the room was spotlessly clean.

However, the breakfast options were a bit limited for my preferences, and the coffee was stronger than I usually like. It could use a bit more variety!

my grandsons and I had a wonderful time here, the pool was a hit for the kids and the breakfast was very, very good, making our mornings easy and enjoyable. The place is super close to restaurants and shopping, which made our afternoons exploring the area effortless.

I was really impressed by how clean the room was, and the comfy bed with all those pillows made it easy to get a good night's sleep. The indoor pool was a great way to unwind after a long day. There were cozy sun loungers perfect for relaxing. A small downside was that housekeeping didn’t stop by on the last day, but overall, I had a fantastic stay! 😊

Friendly staff made check-in smooth. The room felt spacious and clean. Loved the large refrigerator and comfortable bed. Modern upgrades like the charging stations were a nice touch. Breakfast had a great variety, with well-stocked options. However, the fitness room was a bit cramped. Only one treadmill and two other machines made it hard to get a workout in during peak times. Wi-Fi connection was questionable at times, but staff helped with that. Overall, a comfortable stay with decent amenities and great food. Would definitely visit again, but I hope they expand the fitness area.

It was just a good match for a short layover in Tappahannock with great value for money. The room darkening shades really helped me sleep well. Make sure to check if breakfast has your preferred options before heading down.

The Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Tappahannock was delightful, with an inviting ambiance and clean, spacious rooms. The staff were very friendly, quickly assisting with my questions and providing helpful hints about local attractions.

Had a great time with friends! We visited Hobb's Hole Golf Course and enjoyed picnicking. The staff was super friendly and the rooms were clean. The free breakfast was a nice touch, especially how it was freshly stocked.

I stayed for 2 nights and found the staff very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast options were decent, with a good selection of quick bites. My room was clean and comfortable, making for a pleasant stay. The location is convenient with nearby retail options. 😊

Our room was super comfy with excellent blackout blinds. The ice and laundry on every floor were very convenient.
